The American Chamber's annul bilingual report on the state of the business environment has become a widely read reference and an influential advocacy tool. Since the first Taiwan White Paper was released in 1996, this document has become well known among Taiwan and U.S. officials and to the general public. Published in the May issue of TOPICS magazine, outlines the Chamber's Overall Recommendations, assesses Taiwan's current political and economic situation, and includes position papers discussing the priority issues of the Chamber's industry committees.
