Express VISA Program at AIT

AmCham member companies and organizations may take advantage of the expeditious VISA
program through the service provider, ATOS ORIGINS.
Who’s eligible
- Taiwanese Passport holders only!
- All AmCham members and Employees of AmCham member companies
- Spouses and children (under age 21) of AmCham members
- Applicants who have never been refused a visa by AIT before
How to apply
- Visit your local post office and pay the visa application fee and the ATOS ORIGINS fee.
Note the account number at the Post Office for AIT is
19189005 and for ATOS is 19832104.
- Obtain a referral letter from AmCham verifying your AmCham status. Contact the
Membership Services Department at 02-2718-8226 x 212 or graceyeh@amcham.com.tw
- Bring the two original receipts from the post office along with your all passports, one visa
photo, a completed visa application form (DS-156) and an AmCham referral letter directly
to AIT Nonimmigrant Visa Unit any workday between 8AM and 10AM.
No appointment is necessary. An ATOS ORIGINS representative will assist you with
the application process.
- If you have an immediate need to travel, you should indicate that at the time of the
interview with the American Officer at AIT.

As each person’s circumstances vary, AIT cannot guarantee the issuance of a visa, however
AIT will provide as expeditious a process for AmCham referrals as is possible under current
conditions. Applications through this program may not be submitted at the AIT office in Kaohsiung.
**Please Note:
Should any of your employees or family members not return from the U.S., your company must
notify the Nonimmigrant Visa Unit of AIT immediately.
