AmCham Special Luncheon - Future Directions of the Transportation and Communications Sector

The Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC) is charged with administrating the various aspects of transportation and communications in Taiwan. Its operational duties are divided among four categories, including transportation, tourism, meteorology, and communications.

AmCham in honored to invite Minister Mao Chi-kuo of MOTC to discuss the current development and future directions of Taiwan’s transportation and communications sector. In his speech, Minister Mao will outline the priorities of MOTC in the years to come and share his own insights into trends in related industries.

About the Speaker:

Dr. Mao Chi-kuo (毛治國), Minister of Transportation and Communications, earned his Ph.D. in transportation management from the Department of Civil Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. Mao previously served as Dean and Professor at the College of Management, National Chiao-Tung University (NCTU) from 2006-2008, and as Chairman of the Chunghwa Telecom Co.
