Each summer AmCham invites several graduate or upperclass undergraduate students to serve as interns on the staff of our Taiwan Business TOPICS magazine under the supervision of Editor-in-chief Don Shapiro, a veteran journalist. The interns function as reporters -- researching and writing articles for publication. In addition to being a valuable experience in honing research and written communication skills, it is also an excellent introduction to economic, political, and business conditions in Taiwan. Several "graduates" of the program have called it "the best internship I've ever had."
