Commissioned by the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, Lin & Partners completed the draft of the Gaming Law, which will form the legal foundation of casino operation in Taiwan. Through this opportunity, Dr. George Lin, the Gaming Law executive deputy director and managing partner of Lin & Partners, will introduce the concept of integrated resorts to Taiwan, as well as the content and spirit of the Gaming Law.

 

The Gaming Law will serve as the basic legal authority for casino operations in Taiwan. In addition to the integration of casinos within an international tourist resort zone, the Gaming Law includes supervisory issues relating to the authority, establishment of casinos, application of gaming license, mandatory taxation and fees, prevention of gambling addiction, responsible gaming, gaming machines, equipment, personnel, junkets, and anti-money laundering.

Payment for Members

Event billing will be sent to members at the end of each month. Expense for any guests invited by an AmCham member will be billed to member's account directly.

Payment for Non-Members

Non-members who are neither guests nor staff of members must complete the credit card form and fax it back to AmCham at (02) 2718-8182 prior to registered event.

Registration Cancellation

Written cancellation must be received by AmCham 24 hours before the event, or else full price of the event will be charged to member's account.
