The American Chamber of Commerce in Taipei (AmCham; 台北市美國商會) is a non-profit, non-partisan business organization dedicated to promoting the interests of international business in the Republic of China. In the 60 years since its founding, AmCham has become the largest, most effective business organization in Taiwan. With more than 900 members representing more than 500 companies, AmCham speaks with collective authority on international business matters in every sector of the economy.

Lucky Winner of AmCham 2011 Business Climate Survey

In November 2010, AmCham conducted a survey on "Taiwan's Business Climate." The conclusions have provided AmCham with invaluable reference in setting our internal priorities so as to best serve the membership and in identifying points of emphasis for our advocacy agenda with the Taiwan and U.S. governments.

To show our gratitude to participants in this survey, we have prepared a lucky draw prize of China Airlines - One Free Economy Class Ticket of Short Haul Round Trip to South and North Asia. The prize was drawn by our Chairman in the December Board meeting on December 14, 2010. The Winner of the lucky draw prize is Mr. Larry Chang of BRS Nike Taiwan Inc., Congratulations!

Results of the survey have been published in the December 2010 issue of Taiwan Business TOPICS and shared with the Taiwan media at a press conference on January 6, 2011.
