Whether you are already an International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) reporter or considering a conversion to IFRS you need to know about how the proposed adoption of IFRS standards by the Taiwan government will affect your company in terms of financial reporting requirements and financial statements. In addition, the IASB is currently undertaking a significant review of certain standards. As a result, a number of the current IFRS standards will be subject to important adjustments which are due to come into effect in 2010 and 2011.

About the speaker

Joseph Chou leads PwC’s Global Capital Markets Group in Taiwan. Joseph has expert knowledge and experience of Taiwan GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS through providing technical advisory support and assisting existing U.S. SEC registrants with their on-going reporting requirements and compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. He also provides training services to companies to enhance their knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.

* Non-members whose companies are also non-members of AmCham may attend a maximum of three AmCham events.   
  
Payment for Members

Event billing will be sent to members at the end of each month. Expense for any guests invited by an AmCham member will be billed to member's account directly.

Payment for Non-Members

Non-members who are neither guests nor staff of members must complete the credit card form and fax it back to AmCham at (02) 2718-8182 prior to registered event.

Registration Cancellation

Written cancellation must be received by AmCham 24 hours before the event, or else full price of the event will be charged to member's account.
