About the Speaker

Lume Liao is a senior CSR adviser. She has extensive experience in handling projects on sustainability and CSR (corporate social responsibility) communications, her counseling focuses on stakeholder engagement, sustainability reporting and management of corporate-NGO partnerships. With over 23 years of experience as a professional communicator, Lume brings a wealth of knowledge about public relations, advertising and integrated marketing services from her previous positions in multinational consultancies in the Greater China region. She has provided brand communication, perception management, influencer marketing, government relations, media training, crisis management, and strategic marketing counseling services from a wide range of sectors including, telecommunications, FMCG, healthcare, banking, luxury goods, insurance, cable, and entertainment for regional and greater China clients.
Lume Liao was managing director for Edelman Taiwan, senior director with Burson-Marsteller Shanghai, Senior Vice President of Weber Shandwick China and Managing Director for Taiwan. Early in her career Lume served at Burson-Marsteller Taiwan Subsequently she held senior positions at both Ogilvy Public Relations and Hill & Knowlton Taiwan.
Lume has abundant experience in the area of government affairs, in Taiwan as well as China, including Taiwan’s Department of Health (DOH), General Information Office (GIO), National Communications Commission (NCC), local & central governments, Fair Trade Commission (FTC), and Information Office of Shanghai in China; her experience also includes contact with influential NGO’s.


Lume’s training client experience includes companies such as MasterCard, FarEaston, Texas Instruments, Tetra Pak, Johnson & Johnson Medical, Sony Ericsson, Alcatel-Lucent, Gambro, Rohm & Haas, and AIG, to name a few. Lume is a member of SEDA (Social Enterprise Development Association)

* Non-members whose companies are also non-members of AmCham may attend a maximum of three AmCham events.   
  
Payment for Members

Event billing will be sent to members at the end of each month. Expense for any guests invited by an AmCham member will be billed to member's account directly.

Payment for Non-Members

Non-members who are neither guests nor staff of members must complete the credit card form and fax it back to AmCham at (02) 2718-8182 prior to registered event.

Registration Cancellation

Written cancellation must be received by AmCham 24 hours before the event, or else full price of the event will be charged to member's account.
