AmCham and BCCT are honored to host a Joint Capital Markets and Real Estate Committee Luncheon, inviting Mr. Tony Chao, Managing Director of Jones Lang LaSalle, to speak on the topic of real estate market globally, regionally and locally.

During the presentation, Mr. Chao will discuss the following:

Market timing and an overview of the better performing asset classes that include hotels, retail centres, residential, commercial offices etc.

About the Speaker


In his role as Managing Director, Tony Chao not only helps execute overall company strategy but also leads the Strategic Consulting and valuation business in Taiwan. Tony has over 20 years of experience in the real estate consulting field and has worked on various large real estate projects including mixed-use development, office, retail, hotel, industrial, sports, recreational and government infrastructure projects. His specialties include land development strategy, market research, financial analysis, appraisal and BOT (Build, Operate and Transfer) project investment consulting. Before joining Jones Lang LaSalle Taiwan, Tony worked for Investec (Taiwan) Ltd., a leading property consultant firm in Taiwan advancing from an associate to the position of Senior Vice President. When Investec merged with Jones Lang LaSalle in 2001, Tony entered the firm as National Director and promoted to Regional Director in 2004 and Managing Director in 2005. Tony has a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning with an emphasis on Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, U.S.A., and a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning from National Chen-Kong University. Tony holds a national real estate appraiser license and a real estate broker license in Taiwan. He is also a Member of Royal Institute of Charter Survey (MRICS).

Payment for Members

Event billing will be sent to members at the end of each month. Expense for any guests invited by an AmCham member will be billed to member's account directly.

Payment for Non-Members

Non-members who are neither guests nor staff of members must complete the credit card form and fax it back to AmCham at (02) 2718-8182 prior to registered event.

Registration Cancellation

Written cancellation must be received by AmCham 24 hours before the event, or else full price of the event will be charged to member's account.
