AmCham Seminar: M&A in China – A Focus on Executive Retention PDF Print E-mail

Mercer M&A would like to invite you to a seminar, where we will share practical ways to help you maximize the value of your acquisitions in China. One of the key success factors in a China acquisition is the retention of key employees. These key Chinese managers hold relationships to the local government, vendors, suppliers, customers, unions, and often influence a wider set of lower level employees. In the transition period through to integration, you need to address:

Who are the key employees?
Should I pay a retention bonus? If so, when should I pay?
Who should be eligible?
How much should I pay?
Should the retention bonus be tied to performance goals?
Should it be in cash or stock or other vehicles?
Garry will share his global experiences in addressing these vital issues and provide case studies in his work advising multinationals in these China acquisitions.
