Date: Friday, 19 June 2009 In this session we will explore the need to improve sales productivity while reducing cost; a necessity in today’s troubled business environment. Additionally we will review the concept of “Sales 2.0” and the need to embrace new sales strategies to enable sales professionals to work more effectively with their customers. Finally, we will investigate why the use of CRM and sales analytics are so important to companies in poor economic times. Participants of this session will leave with a better understanding of the concept of value added selling and an appreciation of what new skills will be required of sales professionals to earn a position of trust with current and new customers.
About the Speaker(s)Mr. Daniel P. Strunk is an Executive in Residence in the Marketing Department at DePaul University and serves as the Managing Director for the Center for Sales Leadership in the College of Commerce. Mr. Strunk has 35 years of sales and marketing experience and has worked for companies such as Procter & Gamble, Polaroid, Ocean Spray, Converse and The Quaker Oats Company. He is the coauthor of “Principles of CRM” - Baran, Galka & Strunk - Cengage 2007 that is considered the definitive textbook in the CRM today. He is also the author of several articles that have appeared in Selling Power Magazine and two sales strategy cases that are being used in many universities and company training programs in the United States. Mr. Strunk received an MBA from Boston University and a BSBA Magne cum Laude from Boston College. |
Event billing will be sent to members at the end of each month. Expense for any guests invited by an AmCham member will be billed to member's account directly.

Written cancellation must be received by AmCham 24 hours before the event, or else full price of the event will be charged to member's account.
