Wikipedia, the popular online encyclopedia, was launched in 2001 and with today over 12 million articles has clearly demonstrated the usefulness of the Wiki concept. Companies and organizations worldwide have embraced Wikis and use them for policies, guideline, documentation, project management, customer collaboration, and many more applications. A Wiki is a web page that can be created and edited by anyone. Companies and organizations use this this concept to decentralize workflows and simply involve everyone to contribute and participate. At this luncheon, Thomas Siegers will explain in detail what a Wiki is, how it can be setup and used, and what are its impact on companies and organizations. The presentation will be accompanied by live demos, which show how easy it is to use a Wiki.
