The Insurance Committee represents the interests of a wide variety of insurance and insurance-related companies. The Committee works with foreign and domestic regulators with a goal toward modernizing and liberalizing the
local insurance market and the corresponding regulatory framework.

保險委員會

• AMCHAM's visit to MOF status update
• Bond premium taxation- apply for Constitutional Court decision- status update

• Taxation of investment linked business
• Consensus between SITCA and Trust Association of ROC
• Other White Paper Issue update, including pension law amendment, loss carry forward and agent tax treatment.

The Committee also hosted luncheon events jointly with Capital Markets and Tax Committees, such as The Proposed Financial Services Act with Dr. Hu Sheng-Cheng, the previous Chairperson of Financial Supervisory Commission.
