The AmCham Organization

The American Chamber of Commerce in Taipei is an autonomous not-for-profit organization registered with the Taipei City Government. It is governed by an elected Board of Governors and Board of Supervisors. The Board of Governors selects one of its members to serve as Chairman for a one-year term (two consecutive such terms are permitted). The Board also hires a President to manage the overall direction and conduct the day-to-day affairs of the Chamber.

The AmCham office is organized by departments: Finance, Government & Public Affairs, Membership and Events Marketing, and Publications.

Much of the work of the Chamber is conducted through its 24 committees.
