DaimlerChrysler: Master of Innovative Automotive Products

On Jan. 1, 2002, DaimlerChrysler Taiwan Co. Ltd. was established as a joint venture of the global automobile manufacturer DaimlerChrysler AG and its former Mercedes-Benz general distributor Capital Motors Inc. with a total capital investment of NT$1.7 billion.
DaimlerChrysler Taiwan Co. Ltd. has consolidated operations of its five distinguished brands: Mercedes-Benz, Chrysler, Jeep, Smart and Maybach under one umbrella. Each brand has its own dealership and service network while sharing a common back-office resource and management structure.
DaimlerChrysler Taiwan has a staff of 230. With its islandwide dealership and service network, that number hits 2,000 .
Besides automobiles, DaimlerChrysler Taiwan has a subsidiary -- DaimlerChrysler Services Taiwan Ltd. to provide financing, leasing and insurance solutions for DaimlerChrysler's five brands. DaimlerChrysler Services Taiwan's 90 employees work hard to provide professional services to customers and DaimlerChrysler Taiwan#&39s islandwide dealer network.
