The China Business Committee aims to enhance knowledge about doing business in China and the trends and developments that may influence the business and living environment. It lobbies for an improved environment to assist with normalized nonpolitical exchanges across the Taiwan Strait and the promotion of people-to-people and
business-to-business activities. The Committee supports the elimination of trade and investment barriers to allow for a free flow of information, capital, products, personnel and ideas.

中國商業委員會著眼於強化進軍中國市場所需的知識，以及會影響經營和生活環境的趨勢及發展。委員會向來主張，兩岸之間的經貿環境應該要具備正常化的民間交流，也應該進一步開放人際、商業活動。委員會支持取消兩岸經貿投資的人為限制，讓資訊、資本、產品、人員及意見可以自由交流，才能有效增強台灣在區域內的重要性。
