The Discover America Committee was established in May 2000 to promote tourism to the United States. Visit USA Committees have been established in 35 markets worldwide with the support and coordination of the Travel Industry Association of America. Nevada and other western states are providing initial financial support for the Committee. The Committee's membership includes representatives from U.S. state offices, members of the travel and tourism industry, airlines, hotels and related businesses.

 

Past Committee Meetings/Events:

The Discover America Committee meets once a quarter at the AIT Commercial Section office to discuss industry news, upcoming exhibitions, trade shows and other events.
