The Banking Committee represents the common interests of the foreign banking community as these relate to the development of a mature and sound financial services industry and its related markets. The Committee maintains a proactive posture on behalf of its members with banking regulators with the objective of accelerating progress toward financial liberalization.

The Banking committee meets jointly with ECCT every quarter to discuss industry and advocacy issues. The committee also meets regularly with the Banking Bureau.
