Progress on Drug Policy

During his election campaign, Ma Ying-jeou pledged that if he became president, his administration would hold a conference with pharmaceutical industry representatives to help find fresh approaches to longstanding problems relating to drug pricing and reimbursement under the National Health Insurance program.

總統馬英九在競選期間曾經承諾，如果當選，政府會與製藥產業代表舉行會談，研商新方法以解決健保的藥品定價及給付等長期問題。

趕在期限之前，「藥品政策全國會議」於去年12月31日召開。這場會議最後仍無法為多項排定議題提供明確答案；結果並不意外，不僅因為會議只開一天，還由 於業界代表看法南轅北轍、甚至相互矛盾。不管如何，會議還是有些貢獻，至少是釐清了台灣健康醫療的部分關鍵議題。透過製藥委員會，台北市美國商會將與「中 華民國開發性製藥研究協會（IRPMA）」、「美國藥品研究與製造商協會（PhRMA）」的區域工作小組密切合作，與衛生署和健保局持續溝通數項關鍵主題。
