New Directions for Taiwan Tourism

When it comes to the raw materials of tourism - exotic mountains, good restaurants and tasty street food, nice beaches and coastlines, and friendly, hospitable people - Taiwan has everything it needs to attract a large number of visitors. But Taiwan is not the only country that offers enticing charms to potential tourists. Its regional competitors - including Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, and increasingly China - have long been active in promoting themselves internationally with sophisticated, well-targeted ad campaigns.
