Seminars & Field Trips - AmCham Seminar
As companies face turbulent economies, tighter labor market, expanding performance expectations, ongoing cost management and globalization, they must manage and compensate their sales forces in ways that ensure superior company performance and sales growth in this ever-changing marketplace. Watson Wyatt has conducted Sales Effectiveness studies in recent years to find out how to enable and motivate salespeople effectively use their time to generate earning opportunities and, ultimately, achieve company success. The 2008 study report demonstrates that a USD $20 billion company with a sales force of 5,400 new business developers and account managers can derive roughly USD $600 million to USD $700 million in incremental expected revenue by defining roles clearly, allocating time appropriately and guiding salespeople to the right customers or prospects. Peter Gundy, East Division Leader, North American Compensation Practice at Watson Wyatt Worldwide, will share with attendees the survey key findings and how to enhance salespeople’s performance and a company’s growth. About the Speaker(s)Peter Gundy is a senior member of Watson Wyatt's global Sales Effectiveness & Compensation practice, and a member of the firm's senior compensation leadership team. He serves as North American Division Practice Leader with responsibility for Compensation across the Eastern portion of the continent. Peter is a globally-recognized expert in helping organizations motivate profitable growth by improving sales force effectiveness.
