Business Groups in Taiwan

SPEAKER

Mr. David Chang, President, China Credit Information Service, Ltd.

中華徵信所企業股份有限公司總經理 張大為先生

COST Member: NT$1,300 - Non-member: NT$1,900

Although 99% of Taiwanese enterprises are Small to Medium sized Enterprises (SME’s), they make up the majority of business groups. These SME’s show their economic strength through the integration and value chain or center-satellite system. The business groups in Taiwan are very different from the western world and Mainland China. China Credit Information Service, Ltd (CCIS) has explored this topic for 40 years and published the book “Business Groups in Taiwan” which serves as a reference aid for the business community and also an academic study. The book also won the Golden Tripod Award (金鼎獎) from the Government Information Office of the Executive Yuan.

AmCham is honored to invite Mr. David Change, President of China Credit Information Service, Ltd. to share his insights on Business Groups in Taiwan after the Financial Tsunami, the impact of the ECFA regarding what industries stand to benefit from the policy, and who will be the industry leader. During the luncheon, forecasts about the performance of business groups in Taiwan will also be presented to the audience.
