AmCham Seminar - Communicating With Charts
This seminar is on a first-come-first-served basis, maximum 30 persons. (Please note: the first of the three workshops was fully booked. Reserve your seats before they are gone.)
Business is about numbers—more specifically letting others see the reason and meaning behind those numbers. Here’s the usual challenge: How do you get your regional and global bosses, your clients, and your colleagues in other departments to see the meaning, and not just the data? More importantly, how do you get this done in the blink of an eye—because these people do not have the time you need to explain things clearly? Until your audiences can see your meaning, they will not understand your message, and until they understand the message, they cannot make a decision, and until they can make a decision, they will not take the action you need. Their decisions and actions hinge on their clearly seeing, understanding, and accepting what you show them. This second in a series of three workshops is designed to help you show your audience the meaning of data by teaching you how to visualize those numbers simply, clearly, and logically. The trainer will walk you through a ten-step process for helping you choose and design the right chart, using actual business cases. This workshop will focus on helping you learn how to show trends and distributions.
