This special luncheon will feature guest speaker Tony Chao, Managing Director, Jones Lang LaSalle. Mr Chao will provide his professional opinion on the impact of ECFA on Taiwan real estate market, including office, hotel, retail and residential property market. He will also share his insights based on his recent experience working with China developers and SOEs interested in Taiwan.
About the SpeakerIn his role as Managing Director, Tony Chao not only helps execute overall company strategy but also leads the Strategic Consulting and valuation investment business in Taiwan. Tony has over 20 years of experience in the real estate consulting field and has worked on various large real estate projects including mixed-use development, office, retail, hotel, industrial, sports, recreational and government infrastructure projects. His specialties include land development strategy, market research, financial analysis, appraisal and BOT (Build, Operate and Transfer) project investment consulting. Before joining Jones Lang LaSalle Taiwan, Tony worked for Investec (Taiwan) Ltd., a leading property consultant firm in Taiwan advancing from an associate to the position of Senior Vice President. When Investec merged with Jones Lang LaSalle in 2001, Tony entered the firm as National Director and promoted to Regional Director in 2004 and Managing Director in 2005. Tony has a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning with an emphasis on Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, U.S.A., and a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning from National Chen-Kong University. Tony holds a national real estate appraiser license and a real estate broker license in Taiwan. He is also a Member of Royal Institute of Charter Survey (MRICS).
To cancel without penalty, written cancellation must be received by AmCham 24 hours before the event, or else full price of the event will be charged. Expense for any guests invited by an AmCham member will be billed to the member’s account directly. Membership is on an individual basis. Non-member can only attend at non-member price. * Non-members whose companies are also non-members of AmCham may attend a maximum of three AmCham events.
