AmCham Seminar
*This seminar is on a first-come-first-served basis, maximum 30 persons. How did Apple—from being a minor player in the PC market—beat Microsoft to become the world's most valuable technology company? Today Apple is the world's largest mobile devices company in terms of revenue—and the world's most admired company. How does Apple keep its revenue and profit margins growing, even during the recession? This year Apple's revenues are expected to go over US$50 billion! What is the secret behind Apple's success? The media says, “Steve Jobs.” No doubt Steve Jobs has made important contributions to Apple. But every leader knows: a company's success does not—and cannot—depend on a single person. Behind every successful business, there's an opportunity—and a unique strategy for exploiting that opportunity that keeps the competitors guessing. In this workshop you will learn how Apple has identified a previously untapped opportunity—and zoomed past its competitors. Using a case study, this workshop will show you how typical businesses respond to market opportunities—and how Apple responds to them.
