Sir Anthony Galsworthy

  • Former British Ambassador to China
COST Member: NT$1,300 - Non-member: NT$1,900

The American Chamber of Commerce in Taipei is honored to co-host this joint luncheon, featuring Sir Anthony Galsworthy, titled “Shifting the Global Balance of Power.”

One key underlying theme that is shaping the world economy: the shift in the balance of economic and financial power from the West to the East. This has been widely addressed following the financial crisis, and some have even argued that a shift in the balance of political power may also arrive soon, especially with China's influence growing rapidly in many international occasions. How real is this, and how might it affect Taiwan? Sir Anthony will try to suggest some tentative answers.
