SPEAKER Mr. David Hong, President, Taiwan Institute of Economic Research (TIER) 洪德生 台灣經濟研究院院長

The Taiwan Institute of Economic Research is one of Taiwan’s foremost economic think tanks. President Hong will discuss both the up’s and down’s facing the Taiwanese economy in 2010 as well as providing a general consensus on the economy and TIER's forecast for the year. This will be of great relevance to anyone doing business on the island. His insight and information will be of great use in planning forecasts for the upcoming year.

About the Speaker

 

Mr. David Hong is the President of TIER and has been with the organization since 1994. Prior to his tenure at TIER, he was also a director of the Bureau of Finance in the Taipei City Government. Hong has extensive knowledge of the energy and environmental industry. He received his PhD in Economics at the University of Minnesota.


To cancel without penalty, written cancellation must be received by AmCham 24 hours before the event, or else full price of the event will be charged. Expense for any guests invited by an AmCham member will be billed to the member’s account directly. Membership is on an individual basis. Non-member can only attend at non-member price.

* Non-members whose companies are also non-members of AmCham may attend a maximum of three AmCham events.   
  
Payment for Members

Event billing will be sent to members at the end of each month. Expense for any guests invited by an AmCham member will be billed to member's account directly.

Payment for Non-Members

Non-members who are neither guests nor staff of members must complete the credit card form and fax it back to AmCham at (02) 2718-8182 prior to registered event.

Registration Cancellation
