Industrial Technology Research Institute was established from the merger of three research organizations of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), Union Industrial Research Laboratories, Mining Research & Service Organization, and Metal Industrial Research Institute. As consumer and business demands become more fluid and dynamic, ITRI aims to tackle the demands by spearheading original and innovative industrial research, transfer of technology, and product developments. ITRI has three core objectives: “Industrial Technology Research”, “Method and Knowledge Transfer”, and “Derived Value-Added Methods”
AmCham is going to bring members to the headquarters of ITRI in Hsinchu and visit one of the Core Laboratories, Electronics and Optoelectronics Research, and the Creativity Center. President of Industrial Technology Research Institute, Johnsee Lee(李鐘熙) will be hosting the field trip. AGENDA

To cancel without penalty, written cancellation must be received by AmCham at the end of Jan 4, or else full price of the event will be charged. Expense for any guests invited by an AmCham member will be billed to the member’s account directly. Membership is on an individual basis. Non-member can only attend at non-member price.

Event Payment
* Non-members whose companies are also non-members of AmCham may attend a maximum of three AmCham events.
Payment for Members
Event billing will be sent to members at the end of each month. Expense for any guests invited by an AmCham member will be billed to member's account directly.
Payment for Non-Members
Non-members who are neither guests nor staff of members must complete the credit card form and fax it back to AmCham at (02) 2718-8182 prior to registered event.
Registration Cancellation
Written cancellation must be received by AmCham 24 hours before the event, or else full price of the event will be charged to member's account.
