After almost six years’ of effort, Taiwan announced in December 2008 its decision to join the Government Procurement Agreement (GPA) under the WTO. This is a widely recognized positive step that will bring wide-ranging advantages to the country. To help our members gain better understanding about Taiwan’s GPA accession obligations and upcoming business and trade opportunities, AmCham has invited two key interlocutors in Taiwan’s GPA accession process to brief members on the following issues:

  1. Taiwan’s GPA commitment – New obligations and rights
  2. After GPA accession - Overview of new business and trade opportunities for foreign suppliers
