在經濟不景氣的此刻，危機是最不受歡迎的事件。任何一個受到高度注目的的危機事件都可能對企業造成長達多年的嚴重衝擊。危機管理固然會耗費企業許多金錢與資源，但是遇上危機不處理卻可能賠上整個事業。

最近一起直得探討的危機案例是「毒奶粉」事件。隨著媒體的報導，消費者對所有奶製品抱持懷疑態度，嚴重影響所有相關業者。台灣某著名飲料製造商主動將產品送檢、公佈產品不符標準之處、承認生產瑕疵、並召回他們不符規定的產品。雖然此舉造成營利虧損，但卻成功塑造公司重責任的企業形象，贏得消費者肯定。另一方面，消費者對於其他不願發表公開聲明的業者便失去信任，因而抵制其產品，這些企業也因此而虧損。若業者都可以在第一時間，提出有效的危機處理，將可減少公司的營利及形象的損失。

本次為時兩小時的早餐會，參加者將會體驗一段精簡的突發危機模擬，藉以感受危機處理的壓力、及危機處理訓練的重要性與價值。與會者也將會學習如何與利害關係人協商溝通、以及有效危機處理基本程序。

About the Speaker(s)

Lume Liao joined Edelman Taiwan as managing director in 2007.

With over 19 years of experience as a professional communicator, Lume Liao brings a wealth of knowledge about public relations, advertising and integrated marketing services from her previous positions in multinational consultancies in the Greater China region.

She has provided brand communication, perception management, influencer marketing, government relations, media training, corporate social responsibility (CSR), crisis management, and strategic marketing counseling services for customers from a wide range of sectors including, telecommunications, FMCG, healthcare, banking, luxury goods, insurance, cable, and entertainment for regional and greater China clients.

Early in her career Lume served at Burson-Marsteller Taiwan Subsequently she held senior positions at both Ogilvy Public Relations and Hill & Knowlton Taiwan.

Before her recent senior management position with Burson-Marsteller Shanghai, Lume was Senior Vice President of Weber Shandwick China and Managing Director for Taiwan. During this period, she provided senior counsel to multinational companies across a range of corporate reputation, healthcare, government relations, and high-end consumer product campaigns. Additionally she was involved in business development activity throughout Greater China.

Lume has counseled clients on a wide range of industry and has abundant experience in the area of government affairs, in Taiwan as well as China, including Taiwan’s Department of Health (DOH), General Information Office (GIO), National Communications Commission (NCC), local & central governments, Fair Trade Commission (FTC), and Information Office of Shanghai in China; her experience also includes contact with influential NGO’s in Taiwan such as the Consumer Foundation.

Lume’s training client experience includes companies such as American Express, Baxter, DuPont, MasterCard, FarEaston, Texas Instruments, Tetra Pak, Johnson & Johnson Medical, UBS, Sony Ericsson, SaSa, and AIG, to name a few. Lume is a member of SEDA (Social Enterprise Development Association)
