Effective Feedback & Conflict Resolution in Employee Evaluations

SPEAKER Mr. Dan Mitchell, Partner, Asia Training Solutions
COST Member: NT$ 2,500; Non-member: NT$3,600

"Works well when under constant supervision and cornered like a rat in a trap." ~ Anonymous quote on an employee evaluation form

Employee evaluations don't have to be painful episodes resulting in hurt relationships and loss of face. They can instead be effective, empowering coaching opportunities, where the employee being evaluated has a chance to be a partner in determining what changes are necessary for improved performance.

In this special program, Dan Mitchell of Asia Training Solutions will cover the following important lessons to help participants change the way they think about, and conduct, evaluations and formal feedback sessions:

  1. How to use human psychology to understand common feedback and evaluation problems, and how to avoid those problems.
  2. How to help employees uncover their own "Learning Disabilities" - the common assumptions and mental models that slow learning and contribute to performance problems - and correct those "Disabilities".
  3. How to manage conflict in evaluation situations, and turn conflict into cooperation through a process of "Advocacy & Inquiry."
  4. How to use "Root Cause Analysis" to help your staff identify their shortcomings, and improve!

Who should attend the workshop? Anyone who is responsible for conducting periodic employee evaluations, giving direct performance feedback to employees, or training others in an organization to do these tasks.
